"Brooklyn Seams"

Brooklyn Seams is a juried Indie Designers Challenge that seeks to identify rising new talent and product lines. $w ciercle of art and enterprise recently featured in the New YorkTimes is a collective arts incubator located in Fort Green! Participants in each category will be selected from original entrants submissions. The Challenge participants will be required to take part in a specially designer entrepreneurial programs that address the business of fashion! Become acquainted with the process of successful brand architecture, development , execution, management and communication and its importance in sustaining one's creative vision. The Brooklyn Fashion Gallery, welcomes the fall season with a series of programs meant to support and refocus the fashion sector as well as creative micro entrepreneurs! As we Launch "BROOKLYN SEAMS" a juried design challenge!

From concept to consumer, we will bring experts to inspire, educate, support and refocus the fashion sector as well as creative micro entrepreneurs! Our first featured presenter Rose Mastnak, a pricipal in a leading fashion creative branding firm Portrait Branding, brings over 18 years of experience in the branding field. Rose has focused her brand consultancy on the challenges faced by creative-based industries, including beauty, fashion, music, fine arts and entertainment. She has developed seminars and reports specifically to educate young artists on the critical role of branding in developing, communicating and sustaining one's creative vision. This former Brooklyn resident will take time off from Seventh on Sixth duties to share her knowledge and answer your questions!

Future presenter Atim Oton Creative Business Consultant, and editor of Calabar Magazine will join,the panel discussion moderated by artist and designer Richie Richardson. RSVP Is required!
